I decided to cut this one up into fancy pants for David. I used the "Big Butt Baby Pants" pattern, made by Rae.
It is the only pants pattern I have used for David's entire life, and it's my favorite! These are 24 mo, and the pattern goes to 2T, so I have another year and a half before I really need to find another great pants pattern for him!
We decided to do our photoshoot at Garden of the Gods, which is an amazing place to visit! It's so pretty there!
Here's the pattern for you. It's a broken twill so the floats are no longer than 2 threads. So far, the pants seem to be holding up to all the wear and tear he puts them through! No snags even!
Last January I made him some blue on blue houndstooth pants also, and it was for this size. I just pulled them out of some moving boxes last week and they also fit wonderfully! They are soft and warm, and the floats are also no more than 2 threads!
As you can see, his new favorite activity is to wear his buckets as hats!
He really cracks us up!
Fall in Colorado is definitely awesome! We took our favorite drive tonight and enjoyed some scenery at the Palmer Park lookout.
Then we took a short walk on a trail because it started to rain. David found this awesome pinwheel treasure! It was windy and a little sprinkly so it was moving fast!
A few weeks ago (at the end of September) we drove up into the mountains and saw some awesome aspens and colors! This drive is going to be our new yearly tradition!
I hope you are enjoying fall where you are! And I hope you're getting lots of weaving done, too!
