Year in Review 2011

Weaving wise, 2011 was an awesome year!!!  But other than that, 2011 wasn't that great until November, but I'm hoping that 2012 will be an even more awesome year!  Honestly, it won't be hard to blow 2011 out of the water!!

For my last post of the year, I wanted to remember all my projects I did because they are always what got me through the tough times.  So, here is a year in review:

January: Towel exchange & yellow star (3/1 & 1/3) towels

February: Bertha Gray Hayes experiments, 3 scarves, Lee's Surrender, and first rag rug

March: honeycomb pillow, color and effect weaves, bookmarks, and waffle weave

April:8-shaft projects, weave-along from weavingtoday.com

May: veggie towels, tree towel, Huichol lightning blanket, & P2P2 pics

June: Univ. Washington themed towels, quilting lessons, ankle pillow, pot holders, Utah trip, project for local yarn store, mom's blanket, gardens galore

July: Washington trip, summer and winter towels, rediscovery of spinning, P2P2 blanket, pinwheel scarf, girl's camp

August: Finished P2P2, canned lots of apples, started school again

September: samples, more canning, t-shirt rug, county fair

October: party towels, kool-aid dying, handspun weaving, MORE apples, zen towels, tree towels, discovery of the shuttle

November: scarves photo shoot, small tree quilts, Christmas ornaments, summer and winter table runners, 3-strand weaves, trellis in summer and winter, canning something other than apples

December: baby blanket, trellis in other colors

Most of all this year, I have made some awesome weaving friends from all over the world!!!
What a great end to the year!  I can't wait to see what comes next year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
