Because I have been doing the nontraditional treadling of 1a2b2a1b all this time on the Trellis warp, I have decided to weave the traditional treadling for summer and winter on this towel. It is 1a2b1a2b.
It looks a little bit different than the other towels:
I really liked this set when I started, but because I made such a long warp, I'm getting a little tired of it! I want to finish it so I can move onto the next 8-shaft project I have in mind. Well, there are two actually... but those are the ones that come immediately to mind... in a few days I will probably think of more... way more.
It's still very pretty and will make great gifts...
but...
good thing I'm almost done!
